It is with great excitement and a deep sense of responsibility that I step into the role of President of the Colleyville Rotary Club for this coming year. I am honored to serve such a dedicated and passionate group of individuals committed to making a difference in our community and beyond.
Our club's legacy of service and fellowship has always been our strength. As we embark on this new chapter together, I am inspired by the unity and spirit of generosity that defines our membership. I am confident that by working together, we can achieve remarkable things and continue to uphold the values of Rotary.
As we look forward to the year ahead, I would like to share with you our goals, focused on three key areas: Growth, Expansion, and Engagement.
1. Grow Membership and Enhance Participation
Our first goal is to grow our membership by 20% and enhance the participation of existing members in club activities. We will host four membership drives and implement a comprehensive orientation program to welcome and integrate new members. Through regular events and a mentorship program, we will foster a sense of community and belonging among all members.
2. Expand Youth Programs and International Support
We aim to make a lasting impact by establishing a Rotaract Club at Colleyville High School, sponsoring students for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and launching the Youth Exchange Program. Internationally, we will initiate two projects focused on clean water, sanitation, and medical assistance, working alongside global Rotary partners to extend our reach and support.
3. Engage in Community Support and Club Involvement
Engagement with our local community remains a cornerstone of our mission. We will organize six major community service projects, collaborate closely with the City of Colleyville, and ensure every member participates in at least one project per quarter. Through a public awareness campaign, we will highlight our contributions and strengthen our presence in the community.
Gratitude and Acknowledgment
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the members who have agreed to serve on the board this year. Your commitment and leadership are invaluable to our collective success. Together, we will work tirelessly to bring our vision to life and make a meaningful impact.
In closing, I invite each of you to join me in embracing the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Let us approach this year with enthusiasm, compassion, and a shared purpose. With your support, we can achieve our goals and continue to be a beacon of hope and service in Colleyville and beyond.
Thank you for your trust, your dedication, and your unwavering support.
