We invite you to join us in making a direct impact in our community by volunteering at the Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Distribution Center working as Quality Control (QC) volunteers, playing the vital role of ensuring that donated food is properly sorted, inspected, and repacked before it reaches families in need across a 13-county area.
When: April 15th, 9am to noon
Where: 2600 Cullen Street, Ft. Worth, Texas 76107.
Volunteer tasks may include:
Sorting canned goods, grocery items, and packaged meats
Packing food boxes
Operating manual pallet jacks
Sweeping, mopping, and pallet wrapping
Transporting cardboard for recycling
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and 55 inches tall
Ages 12-13: One adult chaperone required per 1-3 children
Ages 14-15: One adult chaperone required per 1-10 youth
Volunteers should be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 30-40 lbs.
